Field’s Day at Don Silvano Ranch
Field day, dances and Gaucho traditions
Visit the Don Silvano ranch in the surroundings of Buenos Aires to discover the heritage and culture of the typical gauchos. Feast on roast beef and Argentine wines, watch traditional dancing and horseback riding demonstrations, and learn more about the history of the ranch during the tour.
At the scheduled time we will pick you up at your hotel. On the way we will observe a changing landscape between industrial zones, nature and the countryside. You will be welcomed with an entrèe of empanadas, wine and juice. Tour the facilities, discover the history of the ranch, which was built in 1930 and covers 380 hectares. As you explore the resort, you’ll have the opportunity to hop on a horse or cart for an exciting ride.
For lunch, sit down to have barbecue with salad, paired with Argentine wines. After your meal, watch a traditional gaucho dance and song performance to learn about local folklore. Next, be amazed as the gauchos demonstrate the horseback riding skills they are known for. In the afternoon, after enjoying the afternoon snack, we return to Buenos Aires to finish the tour.

GRILLED MEAT: pork sausage, blood sausage, short ribs, flank steak and chicken, tomato, lettuce and onion or carrot and egg salads, french fries, white and red wine, beer, fizzy drinks and mineral or sparkling water. DESSERT: flan, coffee. Dance and song performance
03:30pm hs | Riding skills: rein testing, stable race, ring race, rhea rounding, horse gentleness and herd banding.
04:00pm hs | Afternoon snack, coffee, mate infusion, tortas fritas and pastelitos.
04:30pm hs | Return to Buenos Aires
